Over 50% of our AIB valuation instructions are carried out on the same day they arrive. Access to the property is normally the only thing that can slow us down. All our clients pay for their valuation directly by bank transfer to our account.

Using online banking we can confirm immediately that the payment has been received, and release the valuation on the same day.

The Procedure

Once we get an AIB valuation instruction we contact the owner or the selling agent to arrange access to the property. A typical inspection takes 15 minutes, we measure the site and buildings, inspect all of the rooms and take photos as necessary. We also take note of the latitude and longitude of the property.

Then it's back to the office to create the valuation document and check for comparative information that confirms the value of the property.

We post one copy to AIB home mortgages and a second copy to the client with their receipt.
